Smith + Gibbs LLC is looking for a carpenter in the Southern Maine area. We primarily work in Falmouth, Cumberland, Yarmouth, and Portland. We take on a lot of renovation projects with a small amount of new builds. We pride ourselves on efficiency to the craft of carpentry and developing great relationships with our customers.
We’re not out here saving lives but we try to make a difference in them. An ideal candidate would be someone who has knowledge of basic carpentry, built-ins, crown moldings, trim and added points if you know how to install tile.
We are in search of a person or persons who share in the same appreciation of the trades and the craft as we do. We are offering a starting wage of $30-$50 an hr based on skillset and with room to grow. This is a 1099 position. We require you to carry your own liability insurance, vehicle, basic hand tools.
We offer bonuses and incentives per job, we ask they be completed under or on budget and in a timely, safe and professional manner.
