Allspeed is looking for and experienced bike tech for the upcoming season and beyond!
Are you passionate about bikes and skis maybe too, community, culture, teamwork and providing outstanding customer service and experience? If so, then we have a home for you! We’re looking for a talented, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our team!
As a tech here at Allspeed, you’ll play a major part in delivering outstanding service to our loyal customers and community, helping them get the most out of their riding experience and equipment. Whether it's tuning up a high-performance road bike, a mountain bike, or someone's daily commuter, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of bikes and gear while being part of a friendly, like-minded team that shares your passion.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Passion for Bikes (and skis is a plus): If you live and breathe bikes, we want to hear from you! 2 years minimal experience working in a shop/service department is preferred. If no ski tech experience, no worries, the right candidate will adapt with a little bit of training.
- Customer-Centric Attitude: We take pride in our amazing customer service. You’ll be expected to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, making sure every service experience is seamless and positive.
- Team Player: We’re a pretty tight family here, and we’re looking for someone who works well with others, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys being part of a team that works hard and plays hard.
- Attention to Detail: Whether it’s adjusting a derailleur or fine-tuning a custom build and everything in between, you care about the details and take pride in your work.
- Rider Mentality: We practice what we preach! Whether it's trails, on the road or an urban assault, we like riding together and the community we serve!
What To Expect:
- Performing routine and standard bike maintenance, including, but not limited to repairs and services ranging from individual adjustments, brake bleeds, full tunes, wheel building, suspension service, and custom builds.
- Knowledge of ebikes and using computer programs and apps for service and diagnostics.
- Providing expert advice to customers on bike maintenance and repairs.
- Working closely with the sales team to ensure customers have the best experience, whether they’re buying a new bike or bringing one in for service, we all work together!
- Communicating with customers about their service from start to finish.
- Riding bikes with the team on group rides, events, and more!
- Contributing to an overall shop environment that prioritizes amazing customer service and teamwork.
- Learning about current tech through online courses and modules provided by manufacturers and companies.
- Being a part in providing a safe and clean working environment.
- Working occasional overtime (always paid), coming in early or staying late when the workload demands
Why Join Us?
- Team Culture: Being part of an awesome, tight-knit crew and knowing you're part of the success.
- Hands-On High-End: You’ll see product before the general public, work on the newest top-end bikes and equipment and continual training to ensure you have the skills needed to advance and adapt to this fast moving industry.
- Competitive Pay & Benefits: We offer a competitive hourly wage ($20-25/hr DOE), great benefits like health and PTO for full-time employees, and discounts on bikes, parts, accessories and apparel.
- Growth Opportunities: As our business grows, we believe in our employees growing with us.
- Work-Life Balance: We value your time in and out of the shop. We offer flexible hours and the chance to work in a positive, supportive environment.
If you're ready to join a team where you're actually part of the team and feel good about the work you do, we’d love to hear from you!
