Ouellet Construction, a family-owned construction company in Brunswick, Maine, seeks a Carpenter to support the projects of their growing firm.
The ideal candidate is someone with carpentry experience who is looking to grow their knowledge and work with a small company that self-performs a variety of projects. If this sounds like you, get in touch!
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Able to work with hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Strong work habits, i.e. punctuality, self-starter, and positive attitude, being a sponge and wanting to learn.
Ability to anticipate construction process issues and problems; keen problem-solving skills to find work-arounds
and solutions preventing problems from interrupting the overall schedule and quality.
Equipment operation skills a plus. Ability of performing job site layout, framing, siding, cabinetry and finish work.
Concrete, steel,
Good understanding of OSHA guidelines.
Ensure jobsite remains organized and clean. Good housekeeping skills.
Knowledge of safety and health guidelines
Creative, able to see what needs to be done and see how it could be done better
Reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license
Ability to travel within 50 +/- mile radius of Brunswick
Ability to operate a variety of aerial lifts
Have experience with a wide variety of building materials
Excellent attention to detail and desire to deliver quality workmanship
Minimum of 10 years’ experience
