About Us:
Derek Preble Cabinetmakers is a small fine furniture and custom cabinetry shop located in the Pepperell Mill in Biddeford, ME, led by Derek Preble. Our small team of designers and makers are brought together by a shared love of Maine history, craft and culture. We strongly believe that good design is the amalgamation of beautiful, ethically sourced materials, traditional craftsmanship, and a critical appreciation of the design world.
We value good communication, problem solving, teamwork and a healthy work/life balance. It takes a village to do what we do. We often get design commissions looking for well made Shaker or Transitional style cabinets. We value the history of these design styles and therefore often make things in traditional ways (no CNC here). We're proud of what we make, and if this sounds like a good fit for you, we'd love for you to come join us.
EOE:
Please note, Derek Preble Cabinetmakers is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to a work environment that supports, respects and uplifts individuals based on professional merit. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, pregnancy, or any other basis protected by law.
