Night Security Officer
Location: Monson, Maine
Job Title: Night Security Officer – Part time, approximately 20 hrs. per week
We are looking for a responsible individual to monitor our facilities and campus in Monson, Maine and to provide security or other assistance to our artists, guests, and personnel.
Security experience is preferred but not required.
Pay and benefits to be commensurate with experience.
Job Description:
Monitor premises with night patrols of properties; regularly, inspecting buildings, equipment, potential safety hazards, fuel levels, and ensuring windows and doors closed and locked.
Observe conditions of sidewalks and paths, particularly near guest houses for ice, debris, or other hazards.
Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all guests, staff and resident artists.
Take steps to protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire, or other hazards and notify the proper authorities of any emergency situations.
Perform periodic inspections, including monthly fire extinguisher checks, supplies inventories, and building systems.
Perform routine patrols of all properties.
Maintain clear and concise logs of all observations, occurrences, or any suspicious activity.
Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team.
Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
Must have a safe driving record.
Good customer service skills.
