Warehouse Associate
The Lighthouse, an ecommerce focused retailer is seeking a full time, year round warehouse associate based in Kennebunk, ME. We are looking for an enthusiastic, results driven individual that is aggressive and ready to learn and succeed with an organization that is dedicated to their long-term success.
Primary responsibilities include pulling orders, repackaging units
for shipment and sale throughout the country, downloading orders off of email, and sales portals as well as invoicing orders via UPS/FedEx and QuickBooks.
Checking inbound inventory and providing clients with accurate counts as well as processing
returns. Some inbound phone work needed (no sales just checking stock and pricing). General warehouse maintenance needed. Basic computer and math skills are a must. Smaller company environment so different tasks may arise from time to time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. from time to time. You will be part of a small team and respected by your employer.
This position is full time, year round, Monday through Friday 8:30 AM -4:30 PM position. NO WEEKENDS
Must possess excellent verbal communication skills and telephone skills.
Excellent customer service skills required.
Must be persistent, results driven and motivated to achieve goals.
Basic Microsoft Office experience (Word, Outlook)
Time management and organizational skills are required.
Ability to perform but not limited to the following tasks: be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into the computer the correct information, to acknowledge receipt of the goods into the purchase order and processing database.
Must be able to fill out shipping documents and be familiar with various forms that are used Must be capable of weighing material and calculating the cost of shipping.
Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software is desirable.
Physical Demands:
Required to lift up to 50 lbs, though this is rare, most items will be 20-30 lbs or less
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility
