Hello. We are looking for a cashier, front of house, customer service, food loving- team member for our cheese, wine and specialty food retail store.
The Cheese Iron is a high-end, cut to order cheese and deli, wine and specialty food store. We do excellent prepared foods in house.
We are looking for someone with a friendly and upbeat attitude with an eye for the fine details. The ideal candidate has true passion for food and always wants to learn more about cheese, deli, wine, prep foods, sweets and high-end pantry provisions. Overall, The Cheese Iron associate we need is a “Jack or Jill of many trades” Chatting with customers while running the front end. Being at the register to make sure the the customers leave with that last happy customer service experience.
Experience:
Has run a retail register before.
A passion for giving great customer service. Loves talking to people.
Self-motivated
Extremely organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Must be able to stand 8 hours a day and lift 40 pounds.
Bonus: loves specialty foods and wine. Can chat about food comfortably with customers.
WORK the absolute best schedule out there:
Tuesdays – Saturdays from 8 – 4:15. Sundays and Mondays always off year-round (except the one week of Thanksgiving and Christmas with overtime pay hours during those holidays).
