Key position with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
Act as first contact for service customers via telephone and in person in a manner that creates a trusting relationship thereby promoting customer retention and loyalty.
Proactively explain to customers the service needs necessary for their boat with emphasis on preventative maintenance.
Inspect stored boats on property to identify problems and convey the problems to the customer.
Prepare accurate written estimates for service work and parts.
Act as liaison between customer, manufacturer reps and technicians.
Supervise Technicians and Yard crew to meet company and customer expectations.
Maintain digital job schedule
Work with Parts Manager to order required parts for repairs.
Input and track work orders. Enter technicians’ and yard team’s labor times in work orders. Ensure accuracy and correctness of all data entry on work orders.
Ensure timely completion of work order and invoice submission.
Perform timely follow-up with customer.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Assist technicians and yard crew as needed
