Emerson Apparatus is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator/Machinist to join our small manufacturing company. We’ve been a leader in providing high quality laboratory testing equipment since 1908 to many various industries. We are looking for Full-time machinist with skill and experience as a CNC Operator, along with some conventional machines. We are hoping to find the right person with experience, work ethic and a positive attitude to join our team.
Job Description/Responsibilities Include:
Knowledge of machine shop practices. Setup, operate and programming of CNC Mill.
Wide variety of materials from Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Steel, Brass/Bronze, Plastics
Production on runs from 1 to 100 and everything in between
Must be comfortable working to tolerances down to +/- .0005
Safely operate and maintain manufacturing equipment
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Set up and adjust machines for production runs
Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills a plus
Dependable transportation on a must

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
