Seeking experienced CNC Machinist to join our small manufacturing company. We've been a leader in providing high quality laboratory testing equipment since 1908 and are looking for reliable, detail-oriented person to join our team. This is a full time position Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4
Skills with CNC Milling along with some conventional machines.
Job Description/Responsibilities Include:
Knowledge of machine shop practices. Setup, operate and some programming of CNC Mill and CNC Lathe
Knowledge of G Code and CNC Programming
Wide variety of materials used to include aluminum, stainless steel, steel, brass/bronze, plastics
Production runs from 1 to 100 and everything in between
Must be comfortable working to tolerances down to +/- .0005
Safely operate and maintain manufacturing equipment
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Set up and adjust machines for production runs
Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills a plus
Dependable transportation a must
Pay rate to be negotiated at time of interview, pending on experience.
