I own a one year old (end of June) English Setter Llewellyn and I do have a kennel but often it's booked when I need to book a trip on the fly. I work for myself and sometimes need to jet out for a day or a few days to client sites. I'm willing to pay a teenager or adult who already has dogs or interest to watch mine on occasion $100/day. Thought it might be perfect for a teen to get some extra cash if the parents don't mind as I did this before with neighbors/kids in the past with my Vizsla. He's about 40 lbs and wirey still growing loves to run, well behaved, very smart, adorable but he's a puppy and has a lot of energy so he likes to fetch with a ball, go for walks and loves other dogs. Sometimes stays with family/dogs. He's being trained as a hunting dog (upland) so an ideal situation is some adults who have or know hunting dog breeds and a kid who wants to make some easy money just caring for mine when I"m out of town and my kennel is full.
I fly out of PWM and BOS routinely so anyone in the vicinity between Brunswick and Portland (closer to 295 route better not to far away ) will be fine.
