Our Story:
Maine Ocean Lobster was founded in April 2016. The company’s operation is located on Badgers Island, Kittery, Maine which is situated on the Maine side of the Piscataqua River. All of Maine Ocean Lobster products are handled and processed by experienced local lobstermen. Automated equipment is never used to handle lobster, allowing us to maintain the best quality lobster products. Maine Ocean Lobster is an affiliated Company of the Kittery Trading Post, a world famous Outdoor Sporting Goods Retailer established in the year 1938. In the busy summer months Maine Ocean Lobster stocks an outside lobster tank at Kittery Trading Post and sells lobsters and fresh lobster meat.
Job Description:
As a Lobster Pound Grader & Delivery Driver you will be responsible for the packing, grading, processing, and/or delivery of fresh New England lobsters. Must be able to work at least one weekend shift per week, full and part-time hours available between 9am-5:30pm. Maine Ocean Lobster Grader & Delivery Drivers must be comfortable and able to handle live lobster on a consistent basis. Experience is preferred but not required. Medical benefits are not offered for this position.
Qualifications:
Driver's License
18 years of age or older
Be able to lift at least 100lbs
Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
