The Lead Finish Carpenter should have prior experience and not only possess integrity but have the experience demonstrating the following skills
Role and Responsibilities
Install interior and exterior finish materials including trim, casing, baseboards, crown molding, cabinetry, and doors
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans, maintain jobsite paperwork
Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion
Ensure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and company quality expectations
Repair and restore woodwork during renovation projects
Measure, cut, and fit materials with precision tools such as routers, planers, and saws
Maintain a clean and organized worksite and take necessary precautions to protect finished surfaces
Proficiency with hand and power tools used in finish carpentry
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, building materials, and construction practices
Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and crew members
Supervise on-site labor
Communicate all change orders immediately with customer and Project manager
Train lower level carpenters the skills needed
Preferred Skills
5+ years of experience in finish carpentry, preferably in residential remodeling
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and/or with other team members or licensed master technicians
Ability to diagnose, resolve or fix issues
Able to schedule and follow scheduled dead lines
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Physical requirements include frequent need to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. Objects over 50 lbs. must be accomplished with assistance from one or more person

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
