Hi folks! I've got a very exciting but very niche job offer: I am a traveling alpaca shearer based in Scarborough, ME and I'm currently scrambling to find an assistant for this shearing season. I had someone lined up who unfortunately backed out due to some family health issues.
I'm looking for an assistant to hit the road with me beginning in late February and going through the end of June. We travel to 20 states and visit 500+ farms on the east coast and Appalachia. Pay is based on number of animals and number of stops every day, but projected pay is $25k for the 4 month season. All food, lodging, and travel is included.
This job would be great for a recent high school or college grad who is interested in farming and wants hands on experience in a niche field!

Cheers!
