Via Vecchia, a high volume, fast paced, Old Port Restaurant is seeking a Front of House Manager.
This candidate will be responsible for managing the overall flow of service, overseeing, and training staff, communications between staff, guests, and management, maintenance of our reservation and point of service systems, and handling all issues that come up during service. This role is a presence on the floor to assist with any staff member or guest during dinner service. This person is responsible for communicating between staff, guests, and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth service.
This person will be responsible for both opening and closing of the restaurant and should be comfortable these duties, cash out procedures and cash handling. This is a salaried position with benefits such as x PTO/Sick Days, health, dental, and vision insurance.
