Job Summary
We are looking for passionate Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. Candidates should be familiar with kitchen operations, possess a basic understanding of food preparation techniques, have a passion for cooking, and be able to work effectively under pressure while upholding our core team values.
Duties
Maintain a clean, safe, well-stocked, and organized workstation in accordance with company standards, health department regulations, and kitchen specifications.
Perform shared kitchen team tasks, including but not limited to: cleaning and organizing, opening and closing the kitchen, receiving orders, etc.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Prepare recipes to order for timing, quality, and consistency.
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Ability to complete closing tasks, such as writing a prep list, following cleaning procedures, etc.
Requirements
Understanding of/Training in all basic cooking, food preparation, and cooking methods.
Be able to lift over 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to remain standing for up to 8-10 hours.
Ability to meet flexible scheduling requirements as needed by the business.
