As a key member of the management staff, the general manager (GM) is responsible for daily restaurant management at Abel’s Restaurant (On The Shore, LLC). They are responsible for supervising restaurant staff and for management collaboration with the Executive and Sous Chefs as well as the Bar Manager and Front of House Management. The ideal candidate for this position must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor with guests and staff, as well as effectively making use of downtime. Strong leadership and personnel management skills should be accompanied by a customer service orientation and commitment to company values and image. The GM pays close attention to all operational details to ensure the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of guests and job satisfaction of staff, as well as playing a key role in the financial and operational success of the business.

Year-round, local, pet-friendly housing is available. Must have a personal vehicle, housing is not on-site.
Requirements:
2-year minimum previous management experience
Must be 21+ years of age
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, and throughout their shift
Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
Must be able to carry a tray and lift to 30 pounds
