Packaging and Production Assistant:
We create delicious large batch cannabis confections from scratch, this requires a couple months or more of training with our Production Manager as well as learning the ins and outs of all of our packaging. We are looking for someone to start Part-Time with the possibility of becoming Full-Time in the Fall.
Kitchen experience is required.
This position will include:
Cross Training with Production and Packaging - we all work as a team. There is no FOH/BOH mentality here.
Learning and completing recipes as instructed by the Production Manager. We have fun where we can but a lot of our recipes need to be completed precisely to ensure proper pars and dosing.
Multitasking while maintaining a clean, organized work space. Organization is VERY important for this position.
Labeling, wrapping and bagging various edible products while keeping track of proper requirements for each product.
The ability to change tasks as needed.
Updating the product inventory daily. Will need to learn how to use Metrc.
Must be a team player, we are a fast growing company and help each other out as needed.
Many tasks are repetitive and require constant attention.
We use a lot of small hand movements so the physical ability to manipulate products and packaging is a must.
Daily and weekly cleaning tasks.

Flexible Schedule- Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm
Accrued PTO after 90 days of employment, 1 hour per every 40 hours worked.

Weekends are not required, neither are major holidays or snow days. We can also work within your children's school schedule if needed.
Requirements:
21+
Must be able to pass State and Federal Background Checks. With the Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP) it can take 2-4 weeks to get the required documentation to start being allowed to touch cannabis in a working environment.
Must be okay with constantly smelling like Cannabis and working in a facility with it present.
Will need to be ServSafe Certified - We will cover this cost one time.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and do basic math.
Training and Starting Wage:
Our training wage is $16 an hour, you start by learning our packaging protocols. Once completed we evaluate and increase your pay based on performance. Once you have completed the Packaging Training we will assess your skill level and will train the right person on our Production Procedures.
