Scales, a busy restaurant on Portland's waterfront, is hiring a PM Service Cook in our pastry department. Our team enjoys a beautiful, spacious bakery with windows onto the harbor. We focus on classic New England breads, desserts, and ice creams with an emphasis on exceptional quality and technique.
You will get exposure to a chef team that has worked in the some of the country's best restaurants and be part of a restaurant group that includes some of Portland's most lauded restaurants. You're assured to learn skills in both production and service, and will always be challenged and rewarded in this fast paced, ambitious environment.
This position is full-time, but part-time may be considered. Experience in a busy restaurant or bakery is strongly preferred. Current or recent culinary students are also great candidates.
