Paper Tiger is on the hunt for a new Executive Chef!
We are a fast-paced, Asian-influenced restaurant and craft cocktail bar that provides high quality food and beverage with a laid back, silly twist on everything we do. Think ramen and steamed buns, crudo and oysters, burgers and fried chicken. We are open 4pm-1am, Monday through Friday, providing dinner and late-night services. Saturday and Sunday we additionally open from 12pm-1am, serving lunch from 12pm-3:30pm. We are a close-knit team and are looking for the right person to grow and learn with us. 2+ years kitchen management experience is required. Late night availability is a must.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to;
Scheduling and Hiring
Training all kitchen staff
Works prep shifts as well as the line for service
Responsible for all kitchen orders, working within a budget
Maintains a clean kitchen, meeting local and state requirements
Upkeep of kitchen equipment cleanliness and maintenance
Menu creation and pricing
Fostering a creative, inclusive, and safe environment with the entire staff
$60-65k/yr depending on experience + tips
