The Portland Hunt + Alpine Club is looking for talented and kind cook to join our team. You are energetic, motivated and friendly. We are a small, tight kitchen serving excellent local food. Our restaurant is a two-time James Beard Foundation semi-finalist and was named by Thrillist as one of the Best Cocktail Bars in America in 2020.
Our kitchen is focused on local seafood, vegetables and seasonal ingredients. We support our local farmers and fishers, bringing as much local ingredients to our Scandinavian-influenced menu.
We offer living wages starting at $20/hour and subsidized health care. This position is primarily an evening role. Being able to work weekends are a must. Our kitchen is growing with both on-site and off-site opportunities, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us. We believe in building careers and supporting our staff, and we work hard to promote from within.
