Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. There is potential for this to become a Lead Cook or more. We are looking for the right fit for a long term position. We are a thriving year-round establishment that specializes in Smoked BBQ and Gluten Free options.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Assist in meal preparation and presentation for dining experiences.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a line cook for at least 1 year in a fast paced environment
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques.
Familiarity with food service operations, including meal preparation and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
Excellent teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
