About this position:
- Our baristas and cashiers embody the heart and soul of our establishment. They are more than just employees; they are passionate coffee enthusiasts, dedicated to creating a memorable experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
- We are open 6:30am - 5pm and coverage is 6am - 5:45pm (average, depending on closing responsibilities)
- Shifts range from 4-8 hours long.
- We are looking for experienced individuals who can efficiently work the bar alone during slower afternoon shifts as well as able to work along side other baristas during busier shifts.
- Part time and full time positions available.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring satisfaction with every interaction.
- Understand the importance of working together as a team to deliver exceptional service and are always willing to lend a helping hand to their colleagues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, including equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
- Operate cash register and process transactions efficiently.
- Exhibits a capacity to learn from errors and adeptly solve problems.
- Able to work opening or closing shifts independently or with another barista.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold quality standards and uphold the reputation of our brand.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso equipment, and beverage recipes is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
