Hello! CÔNG TỬ BỘT is hiring! We are a small, weird, and beautiful Vietnamese restaurant whose primary goal is to somehow make restaurant jobs more sustainable (emotionally, physically, and financially) for the majority of people that work in it (ie not just the owners and head chefs). We’re trying to do this in a myriad of ways that are tangible and intangible and if you’re interested in this job we’d love to tell you all about it.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A part time dishwasher working Wed, Thur, and Sat nights 3:30-10/11pm.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Position starts at $16/hour DOE and qualifies for a full share of tips. Tips add an additional $8-15 per hour depending on the season.
- BOH staff are paid bi-weekly on Mondays.
- After 30 days employment, each employee gets 10 hours of paid sick leave. Hours are then accrued at a rate of 1 hour earned for every 30 hours worked. A more detailed review of the policy is included in the new hire packet.
- Annual shoe reimbursement.
- "Consent-based scheduling", which means we never schedule you for anything you haven’t explicitly agreed to :)
- All hourly staff are unionized.
