The tasting room at Barreled Souls is seeking both a full-time and a seasonal employee. We are looking for individuals who love craft beer and enjoy a fast paced, fun, and professional workplace. As a tasting room employee, you are expected to embrace hospitality by exhibiting excellent customer service skills while demonstrating a strong, team-focused work ethic. Both weekends and closing shifts are requirements of these positions. Experience in the craft beer industry is preferred but not required.
Job Duties
- Maintaining a friendly and enthusiastic attitude while providing a welcoming environment to patrons and coworkers
- Pouring beer for customers and sharing your knowledge of the product
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Being on your feet for a 7 to 8 hour shift
- Communicating well with peers, customers, and supervisors
- Stocking coolers with bottled beers and cans throughout the day
- Cleaning the tasting room thoroughly as needed throughout the day (floors, tables, windows, fixtures, coolers, etc.)
- Maintaining cleanliness and restocking restrooms throughout the day
- Assisting with tasting room events
Other responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with the bottle membership (compiling bottle pickups, moving boxes of bottles between locations)
- Working events and assisting with event planning
- Assisting with social media
