Camp Quinebarge, a traditional co-ed summer camp nestled in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic CIT (Counselor-in-Training) Director for the 2025 summer season.
As CIT Director, you’ll oversee our leadership development program for teens aged 16-17. You’ll mentor, guide, and inspire the next generation of camp counselors while creating meaningful programming that blends skill-building with hands-on experience. If you’re passionate about youth development, leadership training, and making a lasting impact, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and manage the CIT program
Facilitate leadership training sessions and workshops
Supervise CITs during their counselor placements and daily camp activities
Provide regular feedback and evaluations to help CITs grow
Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure program success
Be a positive role model for staff and campers alike
Qualifications:
Must be 21+ and have prior experience working with teens in a camp or educational setting
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
Background in education, recreation, or youth leadership a plus
Must be available from early June through mid-August 2025
