Wishing Tree Preschool is looking for a new part time possibly full time teacher. We are a unique program in many ways. We are a small program with no more than 9 students per day. Though we are an "at home" facility, the classroom is in an addition separate from my home. We offer the personal care and attention of a home daycare, but are a structured preschool program. We implement a balance of enriching materials and activities with a child led approach. There is a strong focus on communication and conflict resolution skills using the High Scope approach as a framework for conflict resolution. I am passionate and love my work, and I'm hoping to find someone who is as well.
A couple key points:
The number of hours are somewhat flexible, but will include afternoons.
You must be confident in being the only teacher in the room at times.
It is important that the High Scope approach is used. I can train.
You must be reliable.
