Parking Division - Deadline Extended -

The Parking Division is currently looking for enthusiastic individuals that enjoy working outdoors and enjoy working independently, as well as in a team setting. If you are self-motivated and enjoy a challenge, this could be a great fit. We utilize a variety of techniques and tools to enforce the parking laws in the city, i.e., foot/bicycle patrol, LPR vehicles, etc. You would enjoy 13.5 paid holidays as well as earn paid time off on a weekly basis, and an excellent health insurance benefit. If you are a detail-oriented person that has a good sense of fairness and judgement making, we would love to hear from you. The ability to communicate clearly is a must, as well as excellent customer service skills.

The schedule is Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday 11:00AM to 7:00PM, which includes an unpaid 30-minute lunch break.

Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, lift/carry 25 pounds, squatting/stooping and reaching. A good driving record with an active license is required. Successful candidates must pass a physical fitness assessment. Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check. Familiarity with the city streets and some experience using Word and Excel is a plus.

CEBA Union position – Grade 10 - Pay rate starting at $20.63/hour.
