We're a successful online merchant of 20+ years that manufactures and distributes medicated soaps and cleansers via Amazon, Walmart, Ebay, Websites and wholesale channels. We're looking for a new employee to help with order fulfillment and customer service.
Receive orders: Process incoming orders
Prepare for shipment: Pick, pack, and stage items for carrier (UPS, DHL, USPS) pickup
Track orders: Use software to track orders and ensure timely delivery
Manage returns: Process returns and exchanges
Provide customer service: Answer phone calls and provide online customer service
Improve processes: Continuously evaluate and improve order fulfillment procedures
Assist: Assist own with other duties as assigned.
Most of the outbound retail package volume weight is sub 5 pounds. The packages are small, but many. You'll need to be physically mobile and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience with electric forklifts/pallet jack welcome (but not required). Other useful skills include strong organization, attention to detail, honesty, and having a pleasant persona.
Hours are semi-flexible to start (as little as 3-4 hours per day). Position starts immediately and could quickly grow into a full-time hourly or salary position if you'd like. Or it could stay part-time. You'll work from a home office near Mackworth Island and a warehouse location in downtown Portland.
