Benefit election is available from day one of employmentResponsibilitiesRestoring machine to operating conditions during machine runtime failure in a team settingComplete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural componentsCreate retrofits and fabrication, complete machine tear down/repair and assembly and work on PLC’s, VFD’s, and electric motorsConduct creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvementsParticipate in special project work on equipment upgrades or installationsWork with team members and operators to ensure the daily production schedule is metPlan, lead and execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to PM schedule to minimize equipment downtimeMaintain partnerships with team members and vendors using effective communicationProvide break relief to production operators or team members as neededOperate a forklift as needed to complete dutiesOther duties as assignedQualificationsQualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experienceMinimum two years hands on experience in manufacturing preventive maintenance systemsBasic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookStrong knowledge of industrial electricity, mechanical power transmission and fluid piping systemsStrong electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motorsStrong understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Proficient with mechanical drawings and OEM technical prints for parts identificationStrong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics and water processing is preferredPreventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repair, troubleshooting using a data driven systematic approach, rebuilding equipment, lifting, rigging, and lubrication.Ability to do physical inspections, (i.e. climbing, reaching, extending)Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team membersExperience in a high speed manufacturing environment and water processing preferredNote: This job description does not include all possible activities, duties, or responsibilities.
