Would you like to join us in helping to close the gap to a more sustainable future?If these traits apply to you and you're interested in a meaningful career, this position could be perfect for you.Become part of our Sustainable Finance team as our new (Senior) Environmental Consultant (m/f/d) in Frankfurt/Main and do your part to work for a future worth living.Your new roleAs our new (Senior) Environmental Consultant (m/f/d) you will contribute to Ramboll’s success by working collaboratively with your colleagues and building trust-based working relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle. As a (Senior) Consultant (m/f/d) you will perform project delivery activities such as report writing, data collection and field work, data and literature review, and development of recommendations for clients. You will be responsible for managing projects of different size and complexity including budget control, client liaison and managing a team of technical specialists to deliver our assignments. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple technical areas and geographies to ensure that the project team has an appropriate mix of skill levels and disciplines to deliver high quality of work that meets our clients’ expectations. Depending on your entry level, you will also provide support to the junior consultants working on your projects to mentor them and help them develop their technical knowledge and project delivery skills.Your main tasks will be the following:Undertake Independent Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) and Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) in accordance with International StandardsProject ManagementSupport in the preparation of proposals (content and commercial) as well as support of the entire acquisition processProvide advice and project support through effective communication with clients (banks, developers, contractors, international lenders and/or corporate clients)Contribute to creating a safe working environment for staff, sub-contractors and clientsYour new teamYour core team is based in Frankfurt/Main where you will work around 60% of your time. You will also become part of an international, multidisciplinary team that is spread and connected across many of our offices world-wide.Our global Sustainable Finance Team consists of 50 specialists (including sustainable finance, social science, human rights, biodiversity, climate change, air quality, cultural heritage, resettlement, EHS/OHS, process safety, noise, hydrology etc.) from locations including UK, Australia, India, Malaysia, China, Mexico, US, Italy, France and Germany.We are a motivated, innovative, cross-border team in which colleagues actively support each other. Working closely with your colleagues, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing projects for clients in different countries.We undertake field surveys and provide advice on a variety of infrastructure projects in many geographies including Africa, Asia as well as South and Central America.About you From the moment you join Ramboll, we support your personal and professional development so that you can continue to advance in the company.
