Lead Field Service Technician (based in Greater Portland area, ME)

OverviewThe Technician, Lead is responsible for supervising a staff of service technicians, scheduling service calls, and handling all day-to-day service issues that arise. This position is responsible for repairing copiers, printers, and fax machines as well as provides networking services and support.Primary Responsibilities:

Repair customer copiers, fax machines, and printers.

Configure repair estimates and communicates them to customers.

Assist other technicians on service calls when problems arise.

Prepare billing for service calls.

Maintain inventory of parts and supplies used to repair and service customer equipment.

Purchase repair parts and supplies from multiple vendors.

Coordinate & schedule delivery of equipment to customers.

Attend training as necessary.

Education and Experience:

Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Electrical & Electronics

Minimum 5 years’ experience

Electronics Repair; copier, fax, printer repair experience a plus

A+ Certification preferred

Network+ Certification preferred

Canon certifications a plus

Possess the ability to troubleshoot electrical as well as mechanical issues and provide a solution.

Experience with copier, fax and printer repair

Ability to connect a PC and or peripheral device to a network

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)

Google Mail
