Job Details

What You'll Be Doing

Leveraging your strong background in PLC Controls, you will be responsible for providing architectural guidance and help scale out PLC implementations.
Architect and design the control systems for our revolutionary robotics system using commercial components
Transform functional requirements into concepts of operations, architectures, and low-level technical requirements.
Collaborate with other technical teams including electrical, mechanical and, software engineering.
Help define, author, and improve processes to ensure efficiency, quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Write technical design documentation such as functional specifications, design verification plans and reports, presentations, etc.
Perform the evaluation of controllers, networks, and related components to optimize solutions for cost, performance, and reliability requirements.
Write code for PLC designs, conduct simulation and verification, and support validation.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of experience developing PLC-based controls
5+ years of architectural level experience in complex systems
Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and SIMATIC development tools
Experience with FMEA / risk assessment, ISO 12100
Understanding of IEC 61508 & 62061 and ISO 13489
