Area Maintenance Engineer

To ensure equipment availability and reliability of a production unit in the St. Gabriel plant. Maintain assigned  unit in good operating condition (mechanical, electrical & instrumentation areas), with help of internal and external resources within budget constraints. Establish good communication with customers, and control expenses. Implement improvement measures, be responsible for small capital disbursements, participate & support plant wide safety and environmental initiatives.Duties:Mechanical integrity of unit/plant.Maintain a safe & environmetally sound working environment (aid to continuously improve it).Operate within alloted budget.Initiate and control capitalizations.Be customer focused without losing track of business needs.
