This Administrative Coordinator position is for a vacancy located in our Slidell Behavioral Health Clinic in Slidell, Louisiana. Please see the Examples of Work below for additional information on this position. This position may be filled as a Probational Appointment. Applicants may be asked to serve a probationary period that may be anywhere between 6 months and 24 months.This position is in a Career Progression Series and may be filled as either a Administrative Coordinator 2 or 3, depending on the applicant’s level of experience. Please note that there is only one vacancy to be filled. Administrative Coordinator 3 : $13.77/hour minimum - $23.59/hour maximum

Note regarding the advertised pay range: The maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title and NOT the maximum amount usually offered to new hires. An additional premium pay of $1.00/hour may be applied hour for hour working in direct patient care. No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. This support may include a variety of clerical duties, such as : answering multi-line telephones, routing phone calls to the appropriate staff or taking detailed messages, greeting clients, notifying staff of client arrivals, conducting check-in and check-out procedures for clients, verifying insurance coverage, contacting clients with appointment reminders, and processing faxes received. Additionally, this position may also enter information into the electronic health record (EHR), as well as maintain a supply of the necessary packets for both clients with scheduled appointments and walk-ins.
