Contractor position available for Owner/Operator of 26' straight box truck making home deliveries for a major furniture retailer in the Shreveport market.
The deliveries are primarily upholstery with very little set-up. The contractors will net approximately $60,000 to $65,000 per year after expenses.
Monday the contractor will go to the Dallas distribution center to load store stock and take to the Shreveport retail store. Tuesday the contractor will go to the Dallas distribution center and load home delivery merchandise for Wednesday. Wednesday the contractor will make Shreveport area home deliveries. Thursday the contractor will go to the Dallas distribution center and load home delivery merchandise for Friday. Friday the contractor will make Shreveport area home deliveries.
You must possess a strong work ethic and good people skills to succeed. You must meet D.O.T. guidelines including background check, physical, and drug screen.
