Local Shreveport, LA residential remodeling company in search of a Carpenter Helper/Construction Laborer.
Construction Laborer Responsibilities:
Help carpenters and other skilled labor when necessary.
Prep construction sites and keep work areas clean; sweep, shop-vac, pick-up trash.
Load or unload construction materials.
Run errands as needed.
Participate in the demolition of residential remodels.
Read directions and install products used in residential remodeling.
Follow instructions from supervisors.
Assist craft workers.
Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
Construction Laborer Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle. Be able to travel to more than one job site on a given workday. No more than 30 minutes apart.
Be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma.
Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
Ability to work in all weather.
Workers must be punctual and reliable.
Preferred- experience as a general laborer in the construction industry but not necessary.
Drug and Background testing on all hires.
$9 - $12 hourly pay based on experience.
35 – 40 hours a week.
Paid mileage and phone allowance.
