Applications may be rejected if incomplete. Minimum QualificationsThe Noel Memorial Library invites applications for the position of Library Associate for User Experience and Discovery Strategies. The position is an unclassified, full-time, 12-month position, reporting to the Director of Access and Discovery. The candidate should be a user-focused, detail-oriented, collaborative communicator, who can manage multiple projects. The position will provide specialized support to the Director of Access and Discovery in areas relevant to managing the library collection, discovery and cataloging platforms, electronic resources, metadata services, and user experience. As part of enhancing library discovery services, the candidate will manage the library’s website and social media content and work collaboratively with other units to communicate library resources and services.Duties and ResponsibilitiesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Customer service experience
Demonstrated communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with library databases and software applications
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
Experience with content management, website design, social media management, and/or end user design
