As a Plant HR Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources within our manufacturing plant in Shreveport, LA. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the plant's goals and objectives. Your duties will include talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive employee engagement, foster a positive work culture, and ensure the well-being and development of our employees. You will report directly to our Senior HR manager and you'll work out of our Shreveport, LA plant.In this role, you will impact the success of our business by effectively managing the human resources function and supporting the plant's workforce. Your expertise in HR practices and policies will contribute to the attraction, retention, and development of top talent, ultimately driving the plant's performance and success.Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the plant's goals and objectives.

Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.

Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.

Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate records and reporting.

Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work culture.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address organizational and employee development needs.

Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, and recommend improvements to HR policies and processes.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

WE VALUE

Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field. Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).

Experience in talent management, employee engagement, and change management.

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
