HVAC Inside Parts Counter Sales

Pay range: $15/hr to $25/hr depending upon experience. HVAC Inside Parts Department Counter Sales Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Interacting with customers and promoting our company and products in a professional manner.

Inside counter sales processing of phoned in orders.

Assisting Will Call customers.

Parts lookup for various equipment lines.

Processing Job quotes.

Maintain active open quote log for follow up with customer.

Processing warranty claims.

Ensure desired level of margins are obtained by following established pricing structure.

Arrange stock on shelves or racks in sales area and keep merchandise in order .

Conduct outgoing customer sales calls.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Learn product lines, what is carried in stock, vendor’s parts, staying informed of new products.

Requirements

Must have excellent customer service skills

Able to juggle multiple requests at the same time

Willing to work overtime as necessary

Lift at least 50 pound boxes

Training

Multiple product lines will be introduced. Ability to quickly learn products and vendors. Ability to search for substitutes when primary product is not available.

Benefits:

Full time position/40 hours guaranteed each week

Paid bi-weekly/overtime as needed

Performance based incentive plan

1 to 3 weeks of vacation per year as tenure increases

Additional PTO - 4 hours each month after 90 days’ employment

½ Health insurance paid (employee or family)

Health insurance plan (eligibility after 90 day probationary period) includes long term disability coverage (60% of salary after 90 days) and $20,000 term life insurance paid 100% by company

401K after 1 year with matching up to 4% of salary

401K plan includes an optional profit-sharing contribution that has historically been funded 100% since we have had the plan
