Supplemental InformationPositions are located in the Nursing Department at Central Louisiana State Hospital in Pineville, Louisiana.Positions may be filled as a Probation, Promotion, Demotion or Transfer.As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a Registered Nurse 1, 2, or 3 depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant. Registered Nurse 1 has a special entry rate of$29.84/hour.Registered Nurse 2 has a special entry rate of$31.93/hour.Registered Nurse 3 has a special entry rate of$34.17/hour.In addition to the special entry rate of pay/hour, this position receives:
Premium Pay of$10.00/hourworked.
Longevity Paystarting at an additional$2.00/hourworked, up to$5.00/hourworked.
Shift Differential is also earned, depending upon time of shift worked
Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Obtains Pap Smears, blood samples, and other specimens for analysis; interprets laboratory results and reports findings to supervisor.Administers immunizations and other medications. Participates on Immunization Response Teams.
