Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced sound mixer for an upcoming short film shoot taking place in New Orleans. The project requires a skilled professional who can deliver high-quality audio and has their own equipment available for use on set.
Responsibilities:
Record and mix high-quality sound during film shoots.
Ensure optimal audio capture and clarity for dialogue, sound effects, and ambient sound.
Set up and operate audio equipment, including microphones, mixers, and recorders.
Collaborate with the director and other crew members to meet the audio needs of the project.
Troubleshoot any audio issues that arise on set.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a sound mixer with a strong portfolio of previous work.
Own and operate professional-grade audio equipment.
Ability to work efficiently and adapt to the dynamic environment of a film set.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Based in or able to work in New Orleans, LA on the specified dates.
Compensation:
Competitive rate, negotiable based on experience and equipment.
