Looking for a Cigar Shop employee!
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the products they need.
- Provide detailed information about various cigar brands, flavors, and accessories to enhance customer experience.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly.
- Maintain an organized and clean store environment, including product displays and inventory areas.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new arrivals or featured items.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering calls or taking orders over the phone.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a specialty shop environment.
- Strong cash register operation skills along with cash handling experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently.
- Ability to perform basic retail math calculations for inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Experience in supervising staff or leading teams is a plus.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos that attract customer interest and drive sales.
- Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with customers over the phone.
