Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for assisting customers of our tax collection clients. Specifically, the CSR shall perform advanced clerical and customer service work in the collection and maintenance of sales and property taxes, special assessments, improvement district charges, and other types of payments. This is a contract on-site seasonal role (standard 35-40 hour work weeks) that will last until March 29, 2024.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Assist individuals in person and over the phone
● Provide professional customer support and ensure customer satisfaction
● Ensure prompt response
● Processing orders, forms, payments and requests
● Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
● Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, complaints, and comments
● Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
● Minimum: High school or GED graduate, Prefer: AA or AS degree
● 1+ years’ experience in clerical or accounting roles
● Governmental tax collection experience preferred
● Strong customer-facing, communication and presentation skills
● Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
● Ability to use or quickly learn tax collection software
● Excellent organization skills, with a strong attention to detail
● Be a self-motivator who is able to prioritize their workload effectively
