We are hiring for 3 different positions.
1. Experienced seamstress who knows how to use a sewing machine and can replicate custom fabric sewn dolls. Pay is $15/hr and 36 hours per week.
2. A talented artisan craft person who is artistic and experienced with crafts who can make dolls out of clay and other natural materials. Pay is $15/ hr and 36 hours per week.
3. Someone to help with simpler work like gluing on eyes on the dolls, putting hair on their heads , coloring them, cutting out and adding appliqués to dolls created by the seamstress and the artisan. You must have steady hands and an eye for detail. You must make sure that each doll looks perfect before it’s put in the box. Pay is $12/hr
These jobs are located in Belle Chasse about 25 minutes from downtown when there’s no traffic. Please note we are not on a bus route. So you will need reliable transportation to get there each day. Work is 3 days a week. 12 hour shifts to make 36 hours a week. We are a good company to work for and would love for qualified people with good attitudes to come work for us.
