Orthodontic/Administrative Assistant Position (New Orleans)

We are conveniently located to serve the orthodontic needs of our patients in and around New Orleans. We work as a team to provide the highest quality of orthodontic care in a friendly caring environment, where we not only create exceptional smiles, but lasting relationships, where you become a part of our practice family. We believe that our practice represents the highest standard of orthodontic care.
We are looking for a part-time Orthodontic Clinical Assistant. The hourly pay depends on experience. We are closed on the weekends. We provide a positive, caring work environment. We are looking for someone with a caring personality, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
Answering Phones
Scheduling Appointments
Checking patients in and out
Taking Payments
Filing Insurance
Emailing/Texting Patients/Dental Offices
Assisting Office Manager
Typing Receipts
Downloading X-rays, Scansetc.
We also ask that our team members are cross trained in the clinic and the front office.
Clinical Duties include but are not limited to:
Taking X-rays/Photos
Untying/retying patients and placing wires
Managing inventory/stocking the clinic
Setting up/turning over patient chairs
Making retainers
Answering phones/scheduling patients
Filing Insurance
