Seeking line/prep cooks for the Chicory House coffee shop and bistro, located in the historic Rink shopping center at the corner of Prytania and Washington, one block from the St Charles street car line.
The Chicory House offers a small menu of house-baked goods, hot breakfast, sandwiches, salads, soups and hot plate specials with a focus on fresh ingredients and from-scratch cooking.
Job requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience, strong knife skills, punctuality, multi-tasking, ability to lift 50 pounds. Fine dining or breakfast experience a plus. Earliest shift begins at 6:30am.
Starting wage $17+ tip share (ranging $19-22/hr total.) Kitchen 25%, FOH 75%.
