Looking for a Host starting after Mardi Gras. A smiling, calm, capable person who can handle and hopefully enjoy dealing with our customers. This person has to be able to hustle and not get stressed out.
This is a very interactive job - seating of customers while having good communication with your fellow workers. As host you set the flow of the restaurant.
-Greet the customers
-take their name, number in party
- give an estimated wait time
You will then call their names when a table is available, lead them to the table and give them menus
Weekends can be intense with a 45 minute wait
We have a really good hard working, small FOH team right and want to embrace someone just wants to come in and work hard during their shift and leave. Keeping the drama at home please.
We have bussers that primarily bring waters to tables, get drinks, clear dishes and reset tables. You will help with these duties.
It' OK if you have no restaurant experience. We will give full training and help get you up to speed every step of the way.
Crazy idea - we expect you to show up for your shift and to stay until all closing duties are done.
We are open 8am to 3pm Thursday through Monday. (closed Tuesday and Wednesday).
Shifts: 8am to about 3:30pm,
5-days a week, Thur through Monday
Hourly plus tips which has been in $17 to $20 range.
