Emeril’s has held the Wine Spectator Grand Award since 1999. The wine list contains over 3,000 selections from around the world with almost 30,000 bottles in total inventory. Emeril’s list features vertical libraries from such producers as Domaine de la Romanee Conti, Comte Lafon, Chateau Margaux, Lafite, and Mouton Rothchild to name a few.
We are seeking a Head Sommelier who has expertise in managing a prestigious wine program. Their focus will be on the wine list, maintaining wine sales, staff training, seasonal wine pairings, inventory and cellar maintenance. The Head Sommelier will lead the other sommelier(s) on staff. 2-3 years floor experience in white tablecloth, luxury dining and comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage is required. A unique sense of hospitality with a warm, professional demeanor and an iconic personality involving devotion to customer service and positive employee relations abilities is essential.
