Surrey's Café, is a great very busy neighborhood breakfast/lunch restaurant. We’ve been in operation for over 23 years and have quite the good reputation. We are looking for a reliable, smiling, hard working grown-up for a BUSSER POSITION. It’s not a typical bussing position – you will have a lot of interaction with our customers.
Duties include
bringing water to just seated customers
Taking simple drink orders
clearing tables of dishes
constant filling up coffee and water
wiping and resetting tables
sidework, end of the day closing duties.
This job is fast paced and hectic, very busy but we are all a team and the goal is to make the customers happy. You must move fast on your feet and be able to follow our procedures. This is not a server position. It is a vital position that we respect.
It' OK if you have no restaurant experience.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. 8am – 3:30pm
Full time – 5 days a week; we may consider hiring a couple people part-time
Hourly wage $7.25 plus a percentage of the tips – lately that has been between $17 to $20 an hr
